Not sure whether this has been fully resolved yet but I've just done a fresh install of 4.3.5 against SQL Server 2005 and get the above error after building and running the site (using either the starter kit or the install package). The problem stems from the fact that the DNN sql scripts have case sensitivity issues throughout and I get various error indications (and prompts to have a look in Providers\DataProviders\SqlDataProvider for logs) during the install phase, before ending up with the "Object reference..." exception. So the actual error is a side effect of these stored procs not being created during the Db creation phase.

I went and got 4.0.3 and tried a fresh install (db also) and got a different problem "The stored procedure 'dbo.GetTabByName' doesn't exist" this again is a result of case sensitivity problems during db installation although the installation progress didn't report any problems in the way that 4.3.5 did (i.e. go look at the logs).

Anyone know if these case sensitivity problems are already known issues?

Graeme
