I managed to integrate the the store and DNN and also manged to change some of the parameters in the query string, but everytime i have been testing, after i checkout i find paypal displaying different options, sometimes it displays

1. Enter Paypal Username & password sometimes
2. Enter Paypal Username & password and Enter credit card information Sometimes it shows
3. Enter credit card info with shipping address and email and phone contact.

Can someone please help me understand why this is happening? Or am i the only one spooked.

Rgds,
Dancechic

Hmm, not sure.

PayPal can display different screens depending on wheteher you ahve a PayPal cookie on your machine (ie whether you've visited PayPal before).

This could cause some of the issues you're seeing, but I can't really explain it.

Ok it seems like things are more consistent when i installed it on the live server, now there is something else bugging me, once you check out, there is one option where you can enter your paypal email address and another one where you get to enter your credit card info, what is bothering me is that in the option where we are supposed to use paypal email address shows the email address of the store account admin! Isnt that something that should be blank, i mean i am not going to shop my own products, i wanted to comment that in the query string being passed but realised that my account will not be credited with the amount if i do so! Not that there is any issue but just that its misleading to customers to see someone@ebay.com as an email address on www.ebay.com strange, any solutions before i start digging into the code to mess it up.

The "Business" field should be set to the email address associated with your PayPal account.  The value you enter here will not appear anywhere in the input fields on PayPal.

Just out of interest, are you logged in as an admin when you test your paypal purchase?  If you are have you setup your admin username with the same email address as your pay pal account?  If you have then there's no problem, your "customer" email address is sourced from a different location, it just happens to be the same as your paypal business account.

Yes Allan,

I think what you concluded here is right, just that I have to make sure that when i go online it is not really what I think, else will have to work around things, I changed my admin or rather host email address and it shows a different one now but I hope that it will be the actual customers email address.

Thanks for the clarification.
