Thanks for the feedback. The Repository Module is not dead, however version 3.X ( .net 1.1 ) is in support mode only at this point. I do plan to release one more version of the Repository Module with as many bug fixes as possible, then focus on a brand new 4.X version ( .net 2.0 ). I will begin working on the maintenance release during the next couple of weeks with a target date of the end of December.

Version 4.0 of the Reposistory is scheduled for March of 2007.

Thanks again for your feedback, and I'll make sure to include email notifications in the December maintenance release.

Hi,

Is this update still on schedule ?

I really need the repository to be able to email the user downloading a file. The idea is for our demo download site where a demo license file is issuet to the potential customer via email after download.

So customizeable email notification with attachment is really needed here.

Best regards

Vels

I would also really want this functionality.

For those still looking - I found a module on snowcovered called "Form Master".

Its very affordable and I managed to convince Steve to code the mail feature into the latest release. I can recommend it very much, works like a charm for my customer downloads.

Best regards

Vels
