Hi have set up the forum and everything is working just fine exept one thing. When someone posts to a moderated forum there is no email sent to the moderator so that he can go and moderate the post. Is this a bug or can you please help?

Each user has a notification setting for moderator emails once they are a moderator. It is in their My Settings section, and they have to enable it there. If that is enabled and you are still not getting emails then there is a bug and I will have to look into it later.

I do have the same issue. Here is a little more detail. I have the SMTP settings setup corretly, users do receive emails when there profile has been updated.  Also I have a moderator and under my Settings Enable Moderator emails is checked. Still no emails being sent I have tried 2 different emails addresses for the moderators profile still the same problem so it quite possibly could be a bug.

To help confirm if this is a bug or not:

Are you using version 3.20.08?

Do you have a proper from address set under General Settings of the Forum module? (Automated Address)

Do you have Email Notification enabled under General Settings?

Do you have Show Sender Address unchecked under General Settings?
