Hi all,
actually the repository can point to a file, an external link and so on, but i could be a good idea to make an item point to a file already present in the site under the root or any other file location.
What do you think ??
Thanks
Stefano

This would be exactly what I need.  My hosting provider (1and1.co.uk) seem to have the script timeouts set very low, so I can't upload anything much bigger than 900kb without it timing out.

I can FTP stuff into the folders no problems, so it would be great to then be able to catalog those manually uploaded files for inclusion in the repository.

Great module, BTW.

The ability to view the current files is in Gemini as a trivial priority.  I would like to emphasize how important this feature is.  Rather that expanding the templates to a cool new look or limited other functionality, I would reeeeallly appreciate this being a priority in the next release.  I have several sites running on PortalDownload which already has this feature.  Having to reload files time and time again is a giant pain.

As for the last poster, it may not be your provider, the timeouts in your portal can be adjusted to allow longer times. Just change/add your timeout values in your web.config.  The settings can be found in the asp.net forums. http://forums.asp.net/thread/657862.aspx

BTW, This IS a great module, especially the dashboard which allow users to see a mini preview of the files.
