Hello,

I am using paypal as my payment processor and I can't tell either from PayPal or from the store module what it is my customer bought.  All I get is an order number, any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks

Exactly thats the same problem we all are facing, the reason is becoz DNN passes no product detail or order detail info to paypal, the only way you can find this is by looking at the back end tables with the "store_" names and looking at the order details. We are all struggling to pass the details thru the query string passed to paypal, check other threads.

Yeah, it's a known issue.  I've solved it myself by fixing both the PayPal post (using POST data rather than the querystring) and also fixing the order confirmation emails and order history fucntions such taht you can see the contents of the order from the store itself and from PayPal receipts.

Hi Allan:

Could you post your modifications such that other developer oriented types can integrate your changes into thier store modules? I appreciate your help earlier when I had the question on the email provider (and as I am working in DNN 3.3.5 & VS 2k3 still, I had to figure out my own solution), in any event things like a fixed/enhanced email message or anything for that matter would be helpful.

Thanks again for all your posts and contributions.
