Hi - After Registering a new user, DNN displays a screen that says

"An e-mail with your verification code has been sent to your e-mail address: youremail @ gmail.com
Please access your in-box and get the verification code, which is required to log-in first time.

I'd like to find and change this message slightly to tell people to also look in their Spam folder if they don't see it in their inbox - so where can I find the necessary file to edit?

Reason: For some reason my verification emails are going straight to Spam boxes in gmail and Yahoo... but that's a different issue. I just want to do this temporary fix on the above screen message for now.

TIA!!!

use the language editor available in admin (for portal specific changes) or host (for all portals in your installation) menu, item langauges, the message items should be in the globalResources file, that is displayed by default.

Thanks! With your help I found it in Local Resources > Security\App_LocalResources\Register.ascx.resx

It's at the bottom of the list: "VerifiedConfirmationMessage.Text"

All the best!
John

Okay - I edited this message in the "Localized Value" but DNN is still using the "Default Value"

How do I the portal to use the edited Localized Value ?

TIA!
