Don,

You certainly don't come off with a very good attitude.  You basically tell Tam how he should be doing things and since Tam and I run two other sub-projects together I am going to naturally come to his aide.  I never said you don't appreciate the effort, and never said anything negative at all to you or about you.  I would appreciate that same respect when referencing me.  Oh yeah, one of those sub-projects is this forum.

Anyways, all that crap aside.  The module is not a module anymore.  It is core integration and there is no dependancy on outside dll's.  This means that you will get the code when dnn integrates it into a release.  Maybe in 3.2???

RLyda - Ok, well thanks for th reply. I did not realize that there was a post in the ASP.NET forums. So thanks for that.

On another note, I guess I really raised some hackles with some of you. Well, I can tell you that I did not mean to have a "tone" but the fact is that I apparently had one (or a perceived one) for which I am man enough to apologize for. I am not someone who flames or phishes to try and pick a fight, I was simply trying to get an answer and perhaps became a little frustrated.

With that said, I do try to give back to the community where possible and pass on anything I can to help others. I have certainly benefitted from the DNN project the same as others. I recently contributed a sample project demonstrating the use of AJAX.NET in a DNN module. Not much but it is something.

Well best of luck to you all in developing this module. I hope I can contribute something as a user. Peace.

DK

Chris - You are right, my attitude was not the best and I can admit that. But I think you have got to admit that your approach to me was not the most elegant either. Actually, I screwed up in my request in that what I really wanted to request was the source for the 3.0.13 component version. This has all just been a silly mistake we can laugh about right?

Seriously, what say you and I bury the hatchet? My apologies to Tam and the rest of the team. I am an ally of the DNN projects, not an adversary. I wish only the best of luck and look forward to seeing the AD functionality when it is good and ready.

Take care,

Don

The hatchet is now six feet under.

After seeing how the module required core changes, I would strongly advise using the version of DotNetNuke that has it integrated.
