I'm speaking specifically about version 4.3.5.  Depending on the skin you are using it may be tucked away in the menu under the down arrow.  In the default skin it's one of the 4 hyperlinks along the bottom I believe.

Thanks for your reply, Shawn.

I am not at the office now (the DotNetNuke is installed at the office workstation). I believe my office is using version 4.0.something. So may be that explains why I did not see "User Setting". However, I will look for it in the down-arrow menu when I get into the office on Monday.

Thanks again for your input.

Hi Shawn. I accidentally selected the search results page as the default page after login and now I cannot login at all!

So when I click on the login link on the home page, I am taken to the search results page which does not have any boxes for me to enter userid or password. Please advise. Thanks.

Regards,

Deepak

Good morning, Shawn! Okay, it's Monday morning . . . woooheeee!

So I am in the office . . . 've taken a look at the possibility that "User Settings" is in the down-arrow menu.

Nope, it's not there! We are indeed using version 4.0.3. So may be "User Settings" is not supported in 4.0.3. Oh, well . . . thanx for the help anyway.

In the Portals table is a field called LoginTabId: if you update it to NULL you should be directed to the default login page. Backup your database first.

Hi Shawn. That does not work.

1. Firstly, you cannot type NULL in that field.

2. I erased the number that was there and left it blank

3. Now when I click on the login link, it just refreshes the page.

4. I created a blank dotnetnuke portal on another website to see what would be there in the database by default. Turns out the LoginTabID is blank. But when you look at the URL, there is a number 36 in there.

Please advise. Thanks.

Regards,

Deepak
