I am working on updating my website from PHP Nuke, with phpBB, to DotNetNuke (and the Forum module, natch).

I was just curious if there was any way to migrate messages from one forum to the other?  Or users for that matter :)

This is no easy task.  There is no built in method for this but it is possible.

I would probably move the mySQL data into the MS SQL database (if these were the db systems) and then find a way to move around the data.

Hi!

I'm working right now on a phpbb to DNN forum migration.
And for that task i have builded a custom module.
But it is not yet very tested.
In my local and one site it was working well, but.. anyone who's interested in testing / porting his phpbb forum to DNN forum,
please contact me privatelly.
The ImportphpBB DNN module PA and source are available on personal request.
Please remind: this is still in BETA phase, and but it was doing my work well.

Regards,

Claudiu Farcas
