Hi all,

I am coping with such a problem when trying to upload an image for Vendor's banner.
"An Error Has Occurred When Attempting To Save The File C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\DNN\Portals\_default\Error.JPG. Please Contact Your Hosting Provider To Ensure The Appropriate Security Settings Have Been Enabled On The Server."

Please help me to solve it.

Thanks!

Are you sure you have the right permissions on the folders?
What version of DNN are you using?
Is this on a localhost / live server?
Have - you been / are you - able to upload skins?
Do you have ftp access to the site?

Lots of questions....

Thanks for your reply,

I applied DNN 3x. I set all the permission for authorized user, but I do not know why I couldnt send photo or logo to such inditated path. I also run on localhost, I have never try to install it on a live server. BTW, please tell me how to build an installation application in order to install in on a live server?

Thank you so much

I created a simple test for myself (it's not finished yet).
Download this file, unpack it to the folder you want to upload to.
Browse to the DnnPreInstallTest.aspx and run the test.

Hope this helps
