I think you have the solution.  Every thread that the scheduler kicks off, needs to set the culter to what's set in DNN's host/portal settings.

Thanx

Looking forward to the fix.

Is this fixed in the new version of the events module that's in beta?

I have not taken this approach to the event notifications.  The notification sent out will always be in the format of the originator of the event.  So, when the event creator creates the notification message that is what is sent out, regardless of language.  Otherwise, I would need to translate the notification message to the language of the recipent.  I do set the date/time to the culture of the host...  How else would you handle this issue?

I can't remember if I entered it Gemini (To be honest).

This has noting to do with notifications on events, but has to do with the search indexing thread (for what's new, search, etc...) in the isearchable interface formatting the date in the format of the host server, not what I tell DotNetNuke my default language is.  I hope that makes sense.  The problem is that a thread kicked off from the search/indexer does NOT have an http context and has no portal settings.  So when it indexes the module's data, and formats the date (see code in earlier posts) it's using the SERVERS default local settings, not DNN's.  What needs to be done is to change the code to access the language setting of DNN and set it (as my fix pointed out) before indexing.  It would be best to do this in the search code, not in each module IMHO.
