Hi, I hope this is the right place for this message . . . I don't see a separate forum for the Discussions module . . .

Why does my page assume the look of one of the DNN skins (the purple-ish blue one) in my "Edit Discussions" page?

I have checked over my Page Settings many times, and I don't see anything that I am doing wrong . . . my page skin points to the skin I have for all other pages; same for the page container.

I am extremely baffled!!!

My DNN version is 4.0.3. I hope this Discussions module is okay with my DNN version . . .

Any insight is appreciated!
JC

Inedit mode the admin skin is showing up.

The module are old and not in the latest versions of DNN. Forum is a better alternative.

Many modules go to the assigned admin container when in edit mode.  If you don't assign something in the Admin settings, it will use the default DNN one.

Thanks for your replies, Olsmar and Rob.

Olsmar, yes, I agree that the Forum module is much better, but my client wants just any visitors to be able to participate in the forum (without having to sign in). Yet the core Forum module dose not support anonymous posting. Therefore I have to find alternatives that work within the DNN framework . . . it's been a rocky road!

Rob, since you pointed that out, then it was an easy fix--I simply assigned the custom skin to the Admin skin settings too, and it took care of the "visual". Thanx again!   :)
