Hi,

I am planning to implement the ability to search for users by map location and "X miles from me" in my UserProfile module, and "Events and Groups near me" in my Events and UserGroup module.

I have narrowed the field down to 2 - JetKey and Bi4ce.com. The others are very simple and the core one seems non-existant (pity - no one even answers there - the Forum should be removed at least).

I downloaded and installed the Bi4ce Map, and it looks of the high standard you would expect from Bi4ce, but it's not simple to say the least. From what I can see I can make a view on the Location fields in my Events and other modules and point an instance of the map at it (I'm working on this still ;)

Does anyone have any advice on which module is better considering my requirements (and I plan to get even more advanced later) or links to any articles that can help understand how the Maps work a little better so I know what I am doing?

Also in FF 2.0 and IE7.0 all maps seem to be timing out and killing my browser - is something up with the API?
