I can't seem to send images through the newsletter.  I use the 'Insert Image from gallery' button on the Rich Text Editor and in the HTML it says 'test<br><br><img src="http://developmenthell.net/DevelopmentHell/Portals/0/newsletter_01.gif" alt="newsletter_01.gif" border="0" height="167" width="600"><br><br><br><br>test<br>'

but when the email arrives, the source of the email says 'Dear raymac@shaw.ca,<br><br><Base Href='www.developmenthell.net/DevelopmentHell'>test<br><br><img src="/DevelopmentHell/Portals/0/newsletter_01.gif" alt="newsletter_01.gif" border="0" height="167" width="600"><br><br><br><br>test<br>'

You can see the img scr changed from (http://develophell.net/) to (/DevelopmentHell/) so it can't find the pictures.  I've tried everything to stop it from changing the URL but nothing works.

Any ideas?

No, I never got a response on the forum.  I'm trying a newsletter module that claims it has this fixed but only works in DNN ver 4.   So I'm in the process of moving my site and upgrading to ver 4.  Then I'll try the module.

I'll let you know if it works.

What is the name of the Newsletter module you are trying?

It's the HTML editor stripping out the URL. You can add a URL from another domain and it works fine.

I've no idea if there a fix scheduled for this problem in the default HTML editor.

Try using the FCKEditor as I believe this works ok.
