I just got started developing under Windows Vista (Released Version) using VS2005 and the Starter Kit 4.3.6.  It looks as if Microsoft is enforcing XHTML 1.0 compliance within the compiler and several items in the starter kit would not compile until I made some changes to two files in the kit.  These files are textentryeditor.ascx and editentry.ascx for the BLOG module.  Since I am on the bleeding edge here, I am wondering if anyone is aware or addressing these issues of XHTML compliance.  The issues in the text editor were much more severe as some of the quote character (") were of some foreign character in one of the ID tags.  Suprised that got through the compilers.

I am unable to get the solution to compile at all on Vista with VS 2005 SP1 Beta 1.  Can you tell me what you did to get it setup?  I just extracted the source, pointed a new IIS site at the website root directory, opened the solution, fixed the solution project bindings for the web project, and attempted a compile.

I think I got the same issues as you, with the comment errors ''...  Not sure though.  What was your process to get it setup before you blew up?  Do you have a zip file of the solution that I could use, that includes the changes you made, and can you post it on a public site?
