Ok everyone...I am not sure if this falls in the same category, but here goes:

I installed DotNetNuke 4.3.4 (or 4.3.5) about six months ago on myServer2 ... I set up three (3) websites to run from DotNetNuke (custom skins, containers, etc. for each of the sites) along with several other sites that run (asp & html) on the same server.  Everything was running great (thanks DNN!!!), but about two (2) months ago myServer2 crashed and they replaced the hard drive and copied everything from the old drive to the new drive.  Since then I am having trouble getting any of the DNN sites to come up.  They were working for a while, but I could not get logged in with any username / password combinations.  Then some of the settings must have been changed by someone else because I can't even get the main DNN site (on myServer2) to show up now.

I do not mind re-installing the new version of DNN (4.3.7), but my major concern is that I will lose everything that was entered for the three (3) individual sites (images, events, guestbook entries, etc.).  Can someone please help me get DNN up and running again?  Should I run the install package, the upgrade package, or does someone have some settings I can check?...any help would be greatly appriciated.

I wanted to let everyone know that I found the fix for my problem. (described below)

I needed to allow the ASPNET user to have permissions to the dotNetNuke directory and then make all child directories and files inherit the settings recursively. Once I did that, the sites began to work again. (except for one that is still not 100%, but I am much, much closer.)
