Hello,

I would like to know if the discussions module is no longer supported in DNN (4.3.6) ? I can not see any project for this.

Thanks for any little feedback !

Regards,
Fabian

Development of the Discussions module is currently discontinued and the module is no longer distributed with the core framework.

I see - thanks leupold !

I take the chance to have you "on the line" to ask you if you had a look at this discussion:

It's about the problem concerning IIS html-compression and download of documents. Is it already taken into account?

Thanks for any comment on this.

Regards,
Fabian

Fabian,

In DNN 4.4.0, there will be compression built into DNN, that can handle documents correctly.

Thanks for your feeback leupold.

I suppose that there will be a build-in compression. Is this as effectif as using native IIS compression? And if not, do you think that 4.4 will fix the document-download problem when using IIS compression?

Thanks for any further feedback!

Regards,
Fabian
