i have already purchased three modules for scrolling/marquee, one was unstable, the other did not have left and right direction and the third had 2.3 MB generated for the http request, hence it took a few mins. to load even (after the for the first recomplication)!
i am really disappointed.
I need this fuction badly, and willing to purchase another module provided, it works! it is for 4.3.x platform,

i did have a close look on snowcovered, there are some other than the above, but not for DNN 4.3.x platform.

I want is a simple function horitzontal scroll, i am amazed that such a simple fucntion is not avialable (other than the two purchased)

Please help!

I'm not clear whether you wish to scroll content from a DNN module such as announcements.

If not, what might be a good idea is to purchase a simple Flash tool like KoolMoves which for not much difference in money will be able to do what you ask and much more besides.  All you need then is the ability to play the Flash in your site.  The FCKEditor I think can handle Flash, and Inventua also has a good Flash module.  The built in media module is supposed to play Flash also.

thanks for the feedback, i did check it the software refered to it is certainly great but the problem is with arabic characters (i assume other rtl characters as well) flash can take it but when it is played the whole phrase is garbled, unless one converts the phrase to gif and then converts it to flash. hence it is a long process.
for latin characters ur suggestion is a great solution, but again once has to train the client to do it.
anyway thanks again for ur lead
and the best!
