Hello,

 

I am experiencing troubles when trying to upgrade DNN 3.2.2 to 3.3.6 version.

 

Please notice that I run DNN 3.2.2. source version of DNN in my production, and trying to upgrade with source version of DNN 3.3.6

 

Steps that I have done before installation:

1)       Backing up old web.config

2)       Ovewritting DNN 3.2.2. files (complete directory), with DNN 3.3.6

3)       Editing release.config "SiteSqlServer",“MachineValidationKey", "MachineDecryptionKey"

4)       Renaming the release.config to web.config

5)       Initializing installation (install.aspx?mode=Install)

 

After the upgrade is done, I get two errors.

From that point, I cannot longer access my portal.

Only thing that I get is the blank portal, where none of controls/link are working.

I cannot do login/register or search.

Sorry I didn't post the logs first time.

Here are the whole four log files( that were reported as errors)
They're quite large (180kb text) so I zipped them and uploaded it.

I am not sure if you have solved this, but what I had to do was replace my web.config with an updated release.config after install. I have no idea why, but it worked fwiiw. As well, I had to manually remove my dnn.config in /install and then replace after the upgrade. I hope this helps.
