Hi guys,

I installed v4.35 with SQL2K on my devel server (DevServer). Everything works great. Now, I want to move to production server (ProdServer). I copied the project folder to my production server with the same database and configured it exactly the same as my devel server. I also added new Portal Alias (http alias) as ProdServer/MyProject.

But, everytime I run project on product server (http://ProdServer/MyProject). It automatically redirect me back to devel server as http://DevServer/Myproject

Anyone knows what configurations or database tables should I change to fix this problem?

Thanks guys

Dan

Dan,

I've had a similar problem in the past. Assuming you have a correctly installed local file system for your DNN install, these are the sort of keys which I have had success with in the past:

update dnn_PortalAlias set httpalias = 'localhost/bringhome' where portalaliasid =1

update dnn_PortalAlias set httpalias = 'localhost/bringhome/nbc7life2' where portalaliasid =2

etc.
