Cool. Is that skin for $ale/Rent/Lease? That would probably help get me started if I can rip into it.

No, it's a custom job and I don't own it.

Looking back using FireFox, the menu is totally hosed up!  I'll have to look into the problem.

I think instead I'm goint to go for the pure css tabbed menu. This is what the tab should look like. Wondering how to apply this to the menu....

You might want to look at the http://www.snapsis.com css menu - it's been very popular.. It's not very expensive and is CSS based.

It's also included in our skincovered goodie bag package on http://www.skincovered.com where we've got several menus which have been tested in the major browsers and work well, but the CSS based menu - that's John Mitchell's one, and it works like a treat - but not dropdown.

Looks good. I'm looking  to do a top level tabbed menu with a child menu on the left side. $60... I'll have to dig in the sofa cushions for some dough.
