Unless webhost4life has some kind of funky installation which limits your host access (you might try asking them about that) then it's just the default login of dnnhost with password dnnhost.  (older versions used host and host, the defaults are longer now to accomodate the longer minimum password default of 7 characters).

Sweet, that worked.  One other question.  How do I change the host account password?  I obviously don't want to leave the default for security reasons.

Thanks for the help, super appreciated.  This software rocks!

Great, I'm glad you're enjoying DotNetNuke!

Yes, you can easily change the password.  First, log in as host.  Then, you will probably see the words "Superuser Account" display somewhere on the page after you have logged in; this does vary depending on the skin which is in use.  Click on that, and it'll bring you to a page where you can change the account details, including changing the password.

Hi HP,

I'm installing the Blog_xxx_Install.zip and I receive the following at the end of the install (any help would be appreciated - the database objects get created, the file objects get copied to the _Modules folder):

StartJob Creating files
StartJob Expanding Resource file
EndJob Resource Files created

Failure

ExceptionSystem.ArgumentException: Invalid File or Directory attributes value. at System.IO.File.SetAttributes(String path, FileAttributes fileAttributes) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaDnnInstallerBase.CreateFile(String FullFileName, Byte[] Buffer) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaDnnInstallerBase.CreateModuleFile(PaFile File, PaFolder Folder) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaDnnInstallerBase.CreateFiles(PaFolder Folder) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaDnnInstallerBase.Install(PaFolderCollection folders) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaInstaller.Install()
