Hi there! I've drudged through the forums in hope for an answer, but everything I've tried hasn't worked for this particular problem:

We've recently finished a DNN site on development server, and the host has to switch it over to the test server (staging).  The host did a direct copy and this is their email to us:

"I have copied the staging site to the test server. I configured all requests that reach the test server to keep the following domains to stay on the test server. This way nothing gets redirected back.

Somehow or another the code is doing something funny where it changes the host header in the address bar to remain stage.site.com, instead of showing sitealiascom.hostingtestserver.net"

Eventually sitealiascom.hostingtestserver.net will be going copied to the production server and set up as www.sitealias.com

I've put in all the stage and dev urls in to the portal aliases, but it is still redirecting to the dev url. How does one avoid having to reinstall DNN and recustomize it, specifically when there is going to be another move to production?

Thanks!
