Recently I had an error with the Forums Module where the edit windows would not display.  So I removed the module complete and tried to reinstall the module again through the Upload new module.  When I attempt to readd it the page just sits there and doesn't refresh.  I can upload other new modules but I can't upload the Forum Module again!

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

-Scott

The only thing I can think of Scott is that maybe this module is just bigger than the others and you are timing out.

I don't think it's timing out.  I can upload the module I just can go through the deployment process with it.  I was able to initially upload the module about 4 months ago when I first deployed it but since having deleted the module I can't re-upload the module.  The page never times out it just sits there like its doing something but never actually does it.  If I click the upload again in the middle of it after waiting about 10 mins with no results it comes back to the upload screen and gives an error about the SharpZipLib.

Anytime you receive the SharpZip error during upload, it is because you clicked again and it never finished processing the first one.

What I suggest doing if at all possible is checking the database for tables/sprocs starting with Forums_ and then deleting the Forums folder in desktopmodules. I would then delete the dll's if they are in the root bin as well then try again.
