I am new to DNN so please forgive me if I have posted in the wrong place.

I am doing several sites and doing fine, but one of my sites is for a real estate company. My first question is this: how do you remove the register option from a site that does not require it?  The site is informational and I do not want people to register.

Second, according to the local Realtor association, I need to create a frameset that will contain the IDX/MLS search portal, but DNN will not allow the upload.  Any suggestions?

Thanks for any help you can give!!

Good luck with your project!!

You simply need to set the site be NONE under the Admin/Settings/Advanced - where people register on the site. You should see public, verified, private and none. By checking that the register button will not appear - that's the dynamics of DNN - it can be a file in the skin, but hidden when not required.

Secondly - you need to go to Host/Settings / Advanced and check the files you want to upload have the extension that's actually in the box showing the allowed files for upload. This is to ensure that you don't have malicious files uploaded to the site, but you can override it by putting in your own settings.

Nina did a great job with your questions but wanted to throw this in as well...

For a great and VERY inexpensive Real Estate module check out http://www.ventrian.com/

This site is put together by one of the DNN core members and has A LOT to offer for a very low price. I have just started using the Property Agent module from this site and am loving it.

Hope this helps.
