Michael

Also a question - you mention that the DAL+ is not 100% portable - not really a concern but couldnt (in the case of the survey module) the SurveyController.vb and SurveyOptionController.vb be compiled into an independent library that could be replaced if there was a need?

Not really the place for this but it struck me that this might work - make those classes contined seperatly (different dll)

If you don't mind paying for this - you could use entityspaces.

Todd - thanks - thats not bad for the Express version (79$) but I will most likely just hand code it - unless someone has some ideas for new CodeSmith templates for the DAL+ - that would be a cool little utility - of course that would have to be for the old FREE version

Then you would need a way to dynamically load the proper provider and an abstract class would allow yo to do that and then you would have the DAL.

True I see your point - but what if you only had the one you needed available then there would be no descision for the software to make just the people installing it
