Ok...NEWBIE...again. Somehow I have changed a setting so that when you click Login (beside Register), it takes you back to the home page and not to the login screen. How can I get this back? Will I need to make a change in the code or in the DB?

Thank you in advance!

Christine

I think you set the login page for your site to be a home page (under Admin -> Site Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Login Page), and you didn't add the login module to the page... If that's the case, I just made the same thing, got disturbed, and when came back my login was expired, so now I'm trying to figure out which table in the db has an entry that has to be changed.

Just reply to this that you have the same problem, and I will post the solution as soon as I figure it out, or maybe someone who knows a solution, this might work as a clarification what exactly has been done.

Please let us know, if anyone has an idea, in the meanwhile I'll continue research.

Thanks,

Waldis

Found it!!! Go to your db, open the table 'Portals', find the LoginTabId field for the portal you have trouble with (if you have just a default portal, there will be only one record), and replace the content with NULL value (you can accomplish it by deleting the content and pressing 'Ctrl+0'), and that should do it!

Cheers,

Waldis

I am having this exact same problem and this solution does not work because when I go to the table entry  listed in the solution it is NULL and I delete it and use the ctrl+0 but the problem still exists

Any other ideas?
