Glad to see someone else is having the same problem as me. I posted this http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/ForumsDotNetNuke/tabid/795/forumid/118/threadid/76259/scope/posts/Default.aspx,but never got a reply.

Here's the problem (I'm using the Links module, btw):

"The videos are created using Camtasia, and are exported to Flash videos (swf). Four files are generated for each video - an HTML file, an XML file, and two SWF files (one for controls). These files are then uploaded over the network to the \Portals\0\ directory, then synched in DNN. Once that has been done, we create a new link and point it to the HTML file for that video. Click on the link, and voila...the video immediately begins to play...

I *thought* I had successfully upgraded our environment from 2.1.2 to 3.3.5. That was until I tried to watch a training video. Now when I click on the video link, all I get is a white page that displays a box where the video should be. If I right-click the placeholder, I get a message that says "Movie not loaded...". The progress bar at the bottom of IE6 will eventually give the all green, but nothing ever happens. I have waited more than an hour for something to happen, but the video never shows. This is a small 2MB video, so it's not like it's taking a long time to load.

If I link to the main SWF file, it will play, but I lose my controls (play, ff, rew, pause). I'm very curious to know what has changed since 2.1.2 that would not allow this to work. I've read through a few threads, and am beginning to suspect that it has to do with the paths to the associated files. The HTML file calls the three other files that reside in the same directory."

Please let me know if you find a solution.

Thanks,

linque

Yea... I knew that. :-)

Anyway, it is sorted out.  It took me a while - I'm not a javascript wiz.

Apparently, the optional "name" parameter for the window.open method can't have a space in it for IE - Firefox is OK... Go figure.

In the process, I revisted the whole Camtasia file structure - it's a bit complex.  You have to have your two  html files and the xml files all "talking to each other" or it won't work... that much came back to me during the process.  As to your specific problem I don't know... Send me an email, and I'll send you the package that I uploaded to the site... it might give you a clue.
