Hi

I need to change some of the fields in the Registration form. Like i wanted the UserName to be changed to Email Address and remove the Email Address field. where should i go and change, i guess in controls/User.ascx. Am i right. Please help me.

Unless you have a really compelling reason to do so, I wouldn't go this route.  A lot of the core modules and functionality, as well as many other commercial modules will reference the email field.  Not using or removing it will likely cause a lot of problems.

Thanks for the quick reply

Actually im not removing the email field. Im just removing it from UI. I will get  the emailaddress in the username field and enter the email address in the actual Email Address field at the backend.

Now i dont know how to remove the email address field from UI. Add Validation control for the Username field.
