I am relatively new to DNN. I have a 4.0.2 install on the server of my ISP, just to play with. By now version 4.3.7 has arrived, I need to do more serious work, and I'm looking for answers and advise.

1. the helpdesk of my provider informs me that users of the new version encounters some problems. According to him the last version needs higher user rights than previous versions like 4.0.2. Is there any truth in this assertion?

2. The problems arise after a new install, but not after an update. So updating from my 4.0.2 install should work without problems (??)

3. In this forum I read about login problems: is this the exception or do most people encounter this problem?

4. Works 4.3.7 with all modules or with most modules?

5. What is the safe way to go: stay with 4.0.2 (but: works fine with one exception: the search function doesn't find anything) or upgrade to 4.3.7 with bug fixes and perhaps other improvements?

Thanks,

Ray
