Roles...hmmm...now that's an interesting idea. With the recent addition of role groups, I can keep things tidy too.

I'm going to put a little more thought into this, but it sounds like it may do the trick.

One other thing I considered was to implement the child portal idea and for the areas where the dynamic content was needed, I could just use iframes.

I'm still open to other ideas, so if anyone wants to chime, feel free. I'm going to look at using the roles in this context. Once I've decided and implemented whatever route I take, I will post my experience into this topic.

What is the content you need propegated throughout your portal system?  Depending on your needs, it really wouldn't take much to build a custom module that displays the same data to all users in all portals.
