I'm trying to update the email address that registration messages are sent "from".  I've gone to Host Settings and changed the Host email address, but that hasn't had any effect.

It would seem as though there should be a Site/Portal email address, since multiple portals can exist on the same server but might be ran by different organizations.  However, I can't find a Site/Portal email address.

I've searched through my website folder and the database and I can't tell where DNN is picking up the email address that it is using.  The email address it is using is the original address I configured, but now I need a different address.

Unfortunately, that is not working either.  I changed the email address for the site administrator.  But the emails are still coming from the old address.

ah, a breath of fresh air.  Restarting the app did it.

It was the generic user registration system.  That's in the "core" and not a module, right?

I need to start a Beginners FAQ with all these questions I'm having but not finding an easy answer to (in the docs, searching the site, etc).
