So I'm using quite a few controls out of the infragistics library in a number of modules contained in a dotnetnuke intranet portal.  All is working pretty well, however, I am unable to get the ajax functionality working for the grid.  None of the ajax functionality, such as virtual scrolling, hierarchial expansion, paging will work.  It appears to be making the correct server posts, but will not render changes on the client. The same code works fine if separated into a standard user control in a simple aspx page outside of dotnetnuke.  As a result, Infragistics is not much help here as they say they don't support dotnetnuke.  So....I reach out, is anyone out there using this functionality?  I'm using dotnetnuke 4.0.3 and infragistics 6.1.20061.1038 CLR 2

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I answered my own question.  After analyzing the http requests and responses, all was well, so I had to debug infragistic's javascript.  When the client script parses the response, it assumes that it only contains one <xml> element.

 var start=g.responseText.indexOf("<xml");

In the case of dotnetnuke, if your using the solpart menu, the response contains an xml section for solpart so it never will find the infragistics response.  Once I modified this code to look for the tag including the id of the control, all was well.

Hope this helps someone down the line.
