Apollo QuickSearch plugs into the power of Microsoft Indexserver, to enable your visitors to search the word and pdf files that are available on your site. Especially usefull for intranet usage!

Quicksearch offers the following modules: QuickSearch and QuickSearch results, and also a skinobjec: QUICKSEARCH. You can use the modules and skinobject as a replacement for the DotNetNuke core search modules and skinobject.

PDF and JPEG!
When a visitor enters a search query, search results from both DNN and MS Index Server are returned. If install the Adobe PDF IFilter for Index Server, you will be able to search pdf files as well. Also image files (EXIF data) is searchable by use of third party index server plugins.

Folder Permissions
The module honours the DNN folder permissions: if a user (role) does not have read access to a folder, then none of the files in that folder are returned in the search results

Compatibility
This module is compatible with DotNetNuke 3.2.2. and newer (including DNN 3.3.7 / 4.3.7).
