Hi, All:

I just installed DNN4.3.7 into my PC and wirte a very simple testing module. And when I tried to add the module to the page, it gave an error as the following. I checked the database and 'dbo.YourCompany_Gettests'  is in the database. Could you anyone help me?  Thanks.

Error: test is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: The stored procedure 'dbo.YourCompany_Gettests' doesn't exist. ---> System.InvalidOperationException: The stored procedure 'dbo.YourCompany_Gettests' doesn't exist. at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlCommand.DeriveParameters() at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlCommandBuilder.DeriveParameters(SqlCommand command) at Microsoft.ApplicationBlocks.Data.SqlHelperParameterCache.DiscoverSpParameterSet(SqlConnection connection, String spName, Boolean includeReturnValueParameter, Object[] parameterValues) at Microsoft.ApplicationBlocks.Data.SqlHelperParameterCache.GetSpParameterSetInternal(SqlConnection connection, String spName, Boolean includeReturnValueParameter) at Microsoft.ApplicationBlocks.Data.SqlHelperParameterCache.GetSpParameterSet(String connectionString, String spName, Boolean includeReturnValueParameter) at Microsoft.ApplicationBlocks.Data.SqlHelperParameterCache.GetSpParameterSet(String connectionString, String spName) at Microsoft.ApplicationBlocks.Data.SqlHelper.ExecuteReader(String connectionString, String spName, Object[] parameterValues) at YourCompany.Modules.test.SqlDataProvider.Gettests(Int32 ModuleId) in D:\4.3.7\DotNetNuke_4.3.7_Source\Website\App_Code\test\SqlDataProvider.vb:line 128 at YourCompany.Modules.test.testController.Gettests(Int32 ModuleId) in D:\4.3.7\DotNetNuke_4.3.7_Source\Website\App_Code\test\testController.vb:line 59 at YourCompany.Modules.test.Viewtest.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) in D:\4.3.7\DotNetNuke_4.3.7_Source\Website\DesktopModules\test\Viewtest.ascx.vb:line 70 --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

when I tried to add the "User_defined_table" module to DNN. I got the same problem.

It says "dbo.Userdefinedtable_getFields" doesn't exist  which is in the database. I found it will be no problem if I add the module whic doesn't connect the Database.

Any idea?  Thanks.

Just a shot in the dark here, but could it be that the owner of your sp is not dbo?  That's usually my problem when I get this error...

Thank you for your reply.

I checked my DB and web.config. and the owner is dbo. My connection string is pointing to SQL Server 2000, not SQL Server 2005/Express. Could it be the reason?

Thanks.

Hi, Oliver:

Thank you for your reply.

I checked my DB and the web.config file. The owner of SP is "dbo". My connection string is pointing to a Sql Server 2000, not a SQL Server 2005/Express. Could it be the reason?

Thanks.
