So if I create a file call setdate.js and put this in it:

if (window.addEventListener) {     window.addEventListener("load", setCurrentDate(), false); } else if (window.attachEvent) {    window.attachEvent("onload", setCurrentDate()); }

How do I than call this? In my default.aspx file maybe? Do I put it in the same folder as the default.aspx?

After you have a Javascript file, you can link to it from the Head section of your page by following the steps in the following blog post:

The article says 'Just paste this code directly into your skin.' Where is the skin file?

oLink.Attributes("src") = SkinPath & "MyJavascript.js"

What is SkinPath?

The skin file is in the skins folder and will depend on what skin you have assigned to your site or page.
