Long ago in a galaxy far far away there was a module for Dotnetnuke called "Magic Hyper Redirect".  This was an awesome module that you could drop on a page and configure to do all sorts of url rewriting.  When a user vicisted the page they would be sent on to the dynamically created new URL.

You could do stuff like send people to a new link where a querystring now contained that users DNN USERID and stuff.

The Magic people had serveral good modules, but they dissappeard.

Anyway, I am looking for a module that does something similiar.  I basically want to be able to enter a url into the module like...

http://www.getyourowntots.com/test/default.aspx?userid={DNNUSERID}

Then when a user visits the page I want them to be redirected to the new page and have {DNNUSERID} replaced with their actual USERID.

Anyone know of a module like this out there?

Thank You,

stuart

Part of that functionality has been moved to the core. But the specific one you are looking for hasn't.

Do you know the truth when you hear it?

After looking around some more and thinking about the problem.  I think I will just use XMod to drop some javascript on a page that will redirect to the proper page with the proper querystring values.
