I've written a new module that allows users to add comments to the bottom of the tabs. I'm looking to give it away free with source. I've created DNN_Comments.dnn and I've installed the module that way, but I don't know how to zip up the package and allow other people to use it. I also need help testing the installation. I don't think mine ran the SQL script or added the codesubdirectories node into web.config. Can anyone point me in the right direction, either towards documents or by providing instructions?

one thing you might keep in mind is not prefixing your module name with DNN_, in general that is only done by DotNetNuke core projects. The recommended way to do that is, if you use a prefix, to use your own name, or your companyname. The same goes for sql tables and sprocs btw

I didnt read the mod developers documentation, but i am sure something is mentioned about this there. Documentation can be found here: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/About/Documentation/ProjectDocuments/tabid/478/Default.aspx
