Just curious if anyone is having big issues with FreeTextBox on IE7. I have some DNN installs and FTB seems to be working for me, and none of my clients are complaining yet, but I just want to be proactive and resolve any possible issues.

Also, I have FTB in a .NET 2.0 application and in IE7 the FTB editor does not show up. Any suggestions?

Is DNN moving away from FTB and towards FCKEditor since we now have an FCK project in DNN?

I too had issues with FTB in several .NET 2 apps. Most notably DNN. I moved to FCKEditor (over a year ago) and I'm quite pleased. It offers more features while offering more granular permissions to said features. The move a year ago can when a Mac intensive project came down the pipe and FTB was not suitable. we then dicovered that the FCKEditor 'plays' well with all browsers including Mac browsers (Camino, Safari).

While I can not speak for the direction that the DNN Core team is moving, it would seem that FCKEditor is the way to go.

I'm a FTB fan, guess I like to stick with what I've always used ;).

That being said, I have had some issues with older versions of sites using old versions of FTB (DNN and Communityserver both) and IE7. The older versions of FTB don't work in IE7, though I haven't taken the time to figure out which versions those are that don't work.

It would be useful if you guys defined what "big problems" means?

I am using FTB on IE7 and have had no issues so far. :)
