The only thing I have done on the site at all is to upgrade it to 3.2.  The problem started occuring with anyone who registered on the site after the site was upgraded to 3.2.  Was something changed in the core that would keep the user info from copying over to the forum on a new users first visit?  Maybe my upgrade had an error in it.

FYI.  I just created a new account on 'this website' and tried to access this thread:

A critical error has occurred.
INSERT statement conflicted with COLUMN FOREIGN KEY constraint 'FK_Forum_ThreadsRead_Forum_Users'. The conflict occurred in database 'DNN_Prod', table 'Forum_Users', column 'UserID'. insert The statement has been terminated.

My assumption is something in the 3.2 upgrade definitely broke the user port.  I might make a wager that CapnLou maybe upgraded as well prior to receiving his error?

THanks.  This definately gives me something to start with.  I have not even tried upgrading and using the forum in 3.2 yet.  I will start here.

I have recreated this problem on a new dnn 3.2 install locally and also here on DotNetNuke.com (which is always an upgrade).  This is definately because of 3.2.  I know that it is not creating a forum_user record for new users on thier first visit (like it should and was doing until now.)

I don't mind recompiling the core or changing a stored proc if it's an easy fix.  I assume it's something simple like the core changed an available variable.  Let me know if you see something easy and I can try on my end as well.  Thanks for looking into it.
