OK, am hosting with Godaddy using 4.3.6., manual install. How difficult would it be to move to another hosting client. Godaddy servers are too unstable, and need more flexibility?

If you managed to get a dotnetnuke installation up and running with Godaddy manually then moving to another hoster should be a snip for you. The areas i would watch out for are

- if you are going to use a different domain add it as an alias before moving your site
- Ensure with the next hoster to confirm that the installation web directory has the correct security rights for Dotnetnuke. Sometimes you need to request this to the tech support.

I have not used the backup module mentioned as i use DBghost, but when i take a ghost of my production site and database and copy to my laptop it works a treat. I would suggest you try this modules backup/restore functionality using your own PC/laptop first (if you haven't already. Ensure it copies everything..
Try and use a hoster that allows database connection using the Microsoft sql server management studio so you can access theh database directly to troubleshoot.

Best Regards
