Hi,

My users is no very technical, so I want to remove the displayname when they register to prevent confusion. Is this possible?

Even more important, remove the possibility to enter userid with spaces. I think this has no root in usability at all, an userid (loginname) should be without spaces :) Also, userid with space destroys the chance to click the verified URL in the email, and a user with almost no knowledge of web could disappear in the attempt to get verified.

I remember showing my mother a computer for the first time, and described brief how the mouse worked. The first think she did was to raise the mouse in the air and wave it around :) Now she's a wizard in Solitaire and has actually managed to register herself a gmail account... but this indicates what we have to take in to consideration when registering users.

With kind regards,
Steinar Svendsen
