Hi,

I have the following problem. I have and old DNN environment built on 3.2.2 and I've built a new server based on 3.3.7.  I've reinstalled all the supporting modules required, recompiled as necessary, and now I want to copy the entire portal over to the new blank server. The new server is on the same physical machine, though the portal databases are different. I want to ensure that everything copies over, including user base, roles, and security settings for pages.

Does anybody know how to do this? I have tried creating portal template files but this doesn't seem to load properly on the new server, probably because it is tied to the old database and can't find anything.  Can anybody help me?

Thanks,

Brian Armstrong,
