Hey

I tried DNN for first time. I had upload DNN now, does the things as FAQ´s manual.

I have database:
Servername: sql2k506.discountasp.net Databasename: SQL2005_318402_database1 & login: SQL2005_318402_database1_user
and in DNN I writed:

connectionString="Server=sql2k506.discountasp.net;Database=SQL2005_318402_database1;uid=SQL2005_318402_database1_user;pwd=XXX;"

But in my site it writed:
ERROR: Could not connect to database specified in connectionString for SqlDataProvider

What I do wrong?

There are 2 places that the connection string should be defined.  Did you get both?  Can you connect using SQL Server Express Management Studio locally using the same parameters?

Can you connect to your database with any external tool like enterprise manager or query analyzer using those connection parameters?

I'm getting the same error message - I can connect to the SQL server with an external manager.
