This is especially true when modules are rendered based on the logged on user or a UserID - for example, if you are logged in and a module shows your personal details and birthday, then I would see you information if I logged in and it were cached.

I need it to invalidate the cache and re-render my personal information, so caching could not be used in this example.

Not really, because in my case, it happens when you are not logged in.... :-(

"then I would see your information if I logged in and it were cached"

Is this True?

I have tested this on a sample module that I created and I cannot see another users information after I log out and log in with a different login.

I set the Default Cache Time to: 120 seconds

So how exactly does the "Default Cache Time:" work, does it use a seperate cache instance per session/user ?
Also if I use "add an existing module from another page" will this create a seperate cache?

I guess I am looking for better documentation...

thanks

brad
