I'm having trouble migrating one of my old 2.1.2 modules to 4.3.5.  The old module uses the Address user control that ships with DNN.  According to the v4.3.5 docs, it looks like this control is available in the new version but danged if I can get it to work.

In the old module's ascx I added these lines to register then reference the control...  @ Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="Address" Src="~/controls/Address.ascx" %>
...
...
<dnn:address id="ctlAddress" runat="server" ShowUnit="False"></dnn:address>

<%

In the vb I had the following to declare, use the control...

Protected WithEvents ctlAddress As DotNetNuke.Address
...
...
theStreet = ctlAddress.Street
theCity = ctlAddress.City
' etc

What am I missing?

I gather from the docs that instead of DotNetNuke.Address, the new version uses DotNetNuke.UI.WebControls (or is it.UserControls?), but Intellisense doesn't show Address for either.  I see the Address.ascx in the controls folder.  It references DotNetNuke.UI.UserControls.Address.  I can't find where that's defined.

  Back from vacation.  Hope everyone's having a great year so far...

Thanks for the reply.  I tried finding Charles Nurse's blog on this and can't.  Can you point me to it?  Just to be clear:  I'm looking for how to use the DotNetNuke User Controls listed on pag 56 of the Module Developers Guide pdf, specifically the Address control.

Thanks!
