Hi,
On configuration page for gallery under display settings media extensions field is disabled in DotNetNuke Version 4.3.7. Gallery version is 3.01.12. I am unable to add flash and video files in gallery. When i try to add .wmv file it show message that such files are not allowed.
Please help.
Regards,
Azmat.

I'm experiancing the same problem, I've got a DNN Guide ver 4.3.4 on page 172 there is an illustration of the media extensions field with a (.wmv;.mp3) format on it. I thought about it and I tried to add the extensions to the Host settings > advanced  > other  > File upload Extensions field and I got no results.

Please let me know when you find out how?

To the first post.  If you can't upload certain filetypes you need to make sure that it is enabled in the host->host settings->advanced->fileupload types.

As for the gallery module the configuration page doesn't correctly show which filetypes are correctly supported.  You just need to upload the file and if it works--then it works.

thanks a lot dear James Jegers , now it really works . I have added .wmv extension and it has allowed me to upload files with extension .wmv but there comes another issue of file size. It limits file size only 1000 kb where as you have multimedia files of more than 1000 kb. So where from we can change the limit of file size?

I appreciate your previous  response.

In the gallery, under the configuration option, the 3rd option down is a max file size for gallery items.  The default is 1000 kb.
