I installed DNN 4.4.0 clean and had a very successful experience. Checked the log file and no errors were displayed.

Then I added the Announcements and FAQs modules. Total success, no errors.

Then I proceeded to add the News Feeds, Survey, Media and Repository modules at the same time.

This time I got the following first three errors noted in the log file, along with a good number of other non-error reports. Additionally, I was redirected to the home page rather than staying on the Host | Module Definitions page.

Next, installed the Documents module. No problems.
Next, installed the UserDefinedTable module. No problems.
Next, installed the Forum module. No problems.
Next, installed IFrame, Reports, XML and Blog modules all at the same time. One error report regarding the Reports module and reflection, shown here as the last error report.

All in all, a very straightforward and simple installation, no surprises. The four errors below were all that appeared from start to finish, which included installing all the modules.

I haven't yet added any pages or anything else - this is just a report on vanilla install.

Great work - exciting changes and very well done!

Hope these error reports are helpful.

Mike

I also created a child portal. Speedy response, and when I logged in as admin, no errors in the log file.

I had a very clean recent install of 4.3.7 with no customization, just one added page. Upgraded to 4.4.0. Seemed to go perfectly.

But I can't view the log :

Error: Log Viewer is currently unavailable.

I just upgraded to 4.4.0 from 4.0.2 and I get that same error on the "View Log" page. I also get an error on any page that uses the TreeView skin object. Any ideas?

From another thread I saw that adding the property Level="1" to the TreeView object fixes the treeview issue. And for some reason the log viewer page comes up now. VooDoo.
