Hello,
On my main page ( Home ), the Title used to say Home, now after upgrading it says User Login.
After alittle hunting I found this is due to the fact I have a login module on that page.  Is there anyway to run off the feature that changes the title message?

Do you use Oracle?  Then try GoldFish.Net

Get it from CNET Download.com!

I'm having this same issue after upgrading to 4.4.1. Any ideas how to get the title not be overwritten by the login module?

This happens with 4.4.0 and 4.4.1 when you include a user login on home page. Some of the members had suggested code change, but i couldnt apply it correctly.

Maybe you can make a search on these forums. Or take a look at Gemini.

Ok - I just figured out a workaround for this problem.

Log in as Host.
Go to Languages
Go to Language Editor
Then go to Local resources
\Admin
\Security
\App_LocalResources
Go to signin.ascx
Look for
Resource Name: ControlTitle_login.Text

Enter your site title here. Your home page will now have the correct title. I did a view source and it appears correct.

Good job, z3r0c001. I was able to change the value to my website Title, so at least the pages that I have Login modules on do not say "User Log In" in the window title bar. However, that does not fix it where the actual Page Name or Page Title can be displayed in the window title bar.

Does anyone know how can you get the actaul Page Name or Page Title to appear in the window title bar?

Thanks Mike Florida US
